Share any file with a simple link
A minimalist file sharing service: upload, get a direct link, share. No type or size limits, no re-encoding. PicoShare hosted by DINAO — in France.
What is PicoShare?
PicoShare is a minimalist and self-hosted web application that makes sharing files on the web as simple as possible, with no size, file type, or media format restrictions.
The principle is straightforward: you upload a file, and PicoShare provides you with a direct download link to share with anyone; your recipients view or download the file without ads or registration. Unlike services like Imgur, Vimeo, or SoundCloud, which are limited to certain content types, PicoShare accepts any file — and never imposes re-encoding.
Lightweight, it relies on an SQLite database and deploys via Go or Docker. With a storage target compatible with Litestream, PicoShare can automatically replicate your data and allow for later restoration, ensuring simple, reliable, and sovereign file sharing.
