Pingvin Share is an open-source platform for file sharing self-hosted, designed as a sovereign alternative to WeTransfer or Firefox Send. It allows you to quickly send large files via a single link, without requiring the recipient to register.

Each share is fully controlled: expiration by duration or number of downloads, protection by password, email notifications, and automatic deletion of files at expiry. On the organization side, Pingvin Share manages accounts, quotas and limits per user, LDAP / OIDC authentication, white labeling on your domain, and compatible S3 object storage.

Lightweight, fast, and containerized, the application gives back control over transfers that, on consumer services, go through foreign clouds. Managed by DINAO, Pingvin Share keeps your files — often confidential — on French servers.
