Koel is a free, open-source music streaming solution that transforms your personal audio file collection into an elegant web listening experience. Built on Laravel (PHP) on the server side and Vue on the interface side, it scans your local library (or an S3-compatible object storage) and makes it accessible from any browser.

The application manages standard and smart playlists, favorites, scrobbling, podcasts, and radio. It integrates with services like Last.fm, Spotify, and MusicBrainz to enrich metadata and album art. The multi-user mode allows multiple people to share the same media library while keeping their own playlists.

Distributed under the MIT license, Koel deploys easily in a container and remains lightweight : the load mainly comes from storing your files, which DINAO sizes according to the size of your library.
