Polaris is a self-hosted music streaming server, open-source and without a paid version, which turns any server into a private listening service for your collection. It indexes the music present on the disk and streams it via a polished web interface and dedicated mobile apps, without ever uploading your files to a third party.

Written in Rust for speed and reliability, Polaris focuses exclusively on music — no movies, books, or podcasts — and is optimized for very large libraries while remaining lightweight. It supports a wide range of formats : FLAC, MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG, OPUS, APE, WAV, and AIFF, including high fidelity.

Multiple user accounts, playlists, search, and metadata complete the experience. Managed by DINAO, Polaris gives you access to your music from any device, while keeping your collection and listening habits confidential, on French servers.
