What is TimeTagger?
TimeTagger is an open source web-based time tracking tool organized around an interactive timeline and tags rather than fixed projects. This lightweight approach makes it particularly suitable for freelancers, independent contractors, and small teams who want to track their time without complexity.
It offers PDF and CSV reports, daily, weekly, and monthly goals, a built-in Pomodoro method, a responsive interface, and cross-device synchronization. It can even be used offline, with data automatically resyncing once connectivity is restored.
On the technical side, the server relies on asynchronous Python (uvicorn, asgineer) and stores data in SQLite via itemdb, making deployment simple and robust. With self-hosting at DINAO, you maintain full control over your time logs.

No. The interface is ready to use on mobile and desktop. DINAO handles installation, security, and updates.
