What is FreeScout?

FreeScout is a free and open-source helpdesk combined with a shared email box, presented as an alternative to Zendesk and Help Scout. Lightweight and powerful, it allows your team to handle customer requests collaboratively, without compromising confidentiality or locking into a proprietary service.

Built in PHP (Laravel framework), it imposes no limits on the number of agents, tickets, or mailboxes, and runs on modest configurations. The interface, similar to Help Scout, offers conversation assignment, internal notes, saved replies, tags, and simultaneous response detection. FreeScout is translated into over 28 languages, including French.

Rich in modules (live chat, knowledge base, workflows, SMS...), it also features iOS and Android mobile apps, an API, and webhooks. It deploys easily in a Docker container for end-to-end controlled customer support.
