What is Budibase?
Budibase is an open-source low-code platform that helps professionals and IT teams build, automate, and deploy their internal tools in minutes, on their own infrastructure.
You can create applications from scratch or using ready-made templates — forms, client portals, dashboards, application tracking, admin panels — thanks to a drag-and-drop editor. The platform connects to multiple data sources : PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, REST APIs, S3, DynamoDB, Airtable, or its own internal database.
Budibase also includes an automation engine to trigger workflows, allowing you to leverage everything within the security of your own infrastructure. The project is open-source, ensuring transparency and no vendor lock-in.

No. The core functionality is built via drag-and-drop and templates. Technical users can go further with queries, JavaScript, and advanced connectors.
What data can I connect my applications to?

Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your applications and data do not leave the country.
Are technical skills required?

Can I change plans or export my data?
