What is Teedy?
Teedy (formerly Sismics Docs) is a lightweight, user-friendly open-source electronic document management system (EDM) for both individuals and businesses. It offers the features you expect from much more expensive solutions, in a platform that is simple to deploy and use.
Among its strengths: a responsive interface, integrated OCR (Tesseract) that makes scanned documents searchable, full-text search with suggestions and highlighting, and support for numerous formats (image, PDF, ODT, DOCX, PPTX, video). Teedy handles indexing, metadata, version control, tags, and fine-grained access rights via users and groups, with LDAP / Active Directory authentication.
Technically, it relies on an embedded H2 database or, for better performance, on PostgreSQL. It is the ideal tool for small businesses that want to digitize and easily locate invoices, receipts, and contracts without being burdened by a heavy solution.

This application uses AI
The container hosts the application, not the AI engine (which requires dedicated GPUs) : inference is handled externally, with your own provider key. Prioritize a sovereign engine — Mistral AI, NumSpot, Scaleway, or OVHcloud AI Endpoints (France, GDPR) ; an international provider (OpenAI, Anthropic…) only if a specific capability requires it. Inference subscriptions are not included in hosting.
