What is Overseerr?
Overseerr is an open source request management application for your media library. It provides your users with a modern and elegant interface to browse, discover, and request movies and series, which will enrich your Plex or Jellyfin server.
Overseerr natively integrates with your media stack: it connects to Plex/Jellyfin to know your existing catalog, and to Sonarr and Radarr to automate the addition of approved content. An approval workflow, role management, per-user quotas, and multiple notification channels (email, Discord, webhooks…) allow you to keep control.
Catalog and discovery rely on the TMDB database, with recommendations and real-time request status tracking. Hosted and maintained by DINAO in France, Overseerr transforms your media library into a service that your users feed themselves, without dependency on a third-party service.

Does Overseerr replace my Plex/Jellyfin server?
No. Overseerr does not store your media: it interfaces with your Plex or Jellyfin server to manage movie and series requests and orchestrate their addition via Sonarr/Radarr.
How do my users make their requests?
They log in to the Overseerr interface, browse the catalog, and request a movie or series with one click. You approve (or reject) according to your approval workflow.
What integrations are supported?
Plex and Jellyfin for the media library, Sonarr and Radarr for download automation, as well as multiple notification channels (email, Discord, webhooks…).
Are my users and data in France?
Yes. Your Overseerr instance, its user accounts, and request data are hosted on DINAO's infrastructure in France, with native GDPR compliance.
Can I manage quotas per user?
Yes. Overseerr allows you to assign roles, set request quotas per user, and track the status of each request, to maintain control over your media library.
