What is OneTimeSecret?
OneTimeSecret is a simple and secure tool for sharing confidential information — passwords, keys, sensitive data — via a self-destructing link. When you transmit a secret via email or messaging, copies remain in many places; a single-use link, on the other hand, self-destructs after viewing, ensuring that only the intended recipient sees the information.
The service provides temporary, encrypted links protected by an optional passphrase, with an adjustable lifespan: if the link is not opened in time, the secret is automatically destroyed. Available in many languages, it is ready to use for your employees, clients, and partners.
Open source and self-hosted, OneTimeSecret can be connected to your own domain and customized to your brand. It exposes an API to generate secrets from your internal workflows (support, HR, IT). Deployed in a dedicated container, monitored and updated by DINAO.

What happens after reading the secret?
The secret is destroyed. The single-use link only works once: once viewed, the content is no longer accessible, by you or anyone else.
Is the secret encrypted?
Yes, secrets are encrypted at rest and protected in transit. You can additionally add a passphrase known only to the recipient for extra protection.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. The Team and Enterprise plans allow you to use your domain, and the Enterprise plan offers white-label customization in your organization's colors.
Where are the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your secrets never leave the territory and are never retained after reading.
Can I integrate it with my internal tools?
Yes. OneTimeSecret exposes an API that allows generating single-use links from your internal workflows (support, HR, IT), starting from the Team plan.
