Your MySQL database, reliable and hosted in France
A fast and secure MySQL server, installed, configured, and monitored by DINAO. Your data stays on our French servers — it never leaves the country.
What is MySQL?
MySQL is the most widely used open-source relational database management system in the world. Designed for speed, ease of use, and reliability, it powers a vast portion of web applications and serves as the 'M' in LAMP stacks (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
MySQL relies on the InnoDB transactional engine, which ensures ACID compliance, foreign key management, crash recovery, and high concurrency. It supports replication, partitioning, advanced indexing, group replication, and offers proven backup and monitoring tools. Its wide compatibility with frameworks and hosting providers makes it a safe choice.
Appreciated for its maturity, extensive ecosystem, and ease of administration, MySQL is suited for websites, business applications, and online services seeking a proven, well-documented, and widely supported database. It has been a de facto standard for web development for over two decades.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Is MySQL compatible with WordPress, PrestaShop, or Magento?
Yes. MySQL is the most common database engine on the web: almost all CMSs and applications (WordPress, PrestaShop, Magento, Drupal…) work natively with your DINAO instance.
What is the difference with MariaDB?
MySQL and MariaDB are very close and largely compatible. MySQL (developed by Oracle) remains the reference for application compatibility; MariaDB is a community fork. DINAO offers both according to your needs.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your data does not leave the territory and remains subject to French and European law.
Are technical skills required?
No for everyday use: your application connects with a simple connection string. DINAO handles installation, optimization, backups, and security.
How do backups and restoration work?
Encrypted daily dumps are retained for X days and supplemented by binlogs for fine-grained recovery. Restoration is performed upon request to support.
