Electronic Signature, Hosted in France
A electronic signature platform powered by DocuSeal, an alternative to DocuSign, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your signed contracts and documents remain on our French servers — GDPR compliant, never with a foreign third party.
What is DocuSeal?
DocuSeal is an open-source electronic signature platform for documents, designed as an alternative to DocuSign. It allows you to create custom PDF forms using a WYSIWYG field builder (12 field types: signature, date, checkbox, text…), then have them filled out and signed online, with automatic PDF eSignature and cryptographic signature verification.
The tool manages multiple signers per document, with defined order, roles, and automated email reminders and tracking notifications. The interface is mobile-optimized and available in multiple languages, covering use cases in banking, healthcare, real estate, KYC, or bulk signing.
Built with Ruby on Rails and Vue.js, DocuSeal deploys as a single Docker container, with SQLite by default or PostgreSQL / MySQL for production. It exposes a REST API and webhooks (Python, PHP, Ruby clients) as well as embeddable signature components (React, Vue, Angular, JS); higher tiers add SSO / SAML, conditional fields, and bulk import.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Is DocuSeal a real alternative to DocuSign?
Yes. DocuSeal allows you to create PDF forms, have them filled out and signed online by multiple signers, with reminders and signature verification — all self-hosted by DINAO, with no per-envelope billing.
Do signatures have legal value?
DocuSeal applies a PDF eSignature with cryptographic verification of document integrity. For qualification requirements (eIDAS), specify your required level so we can adapt the configuration.
Where are my documents hosted?
On DINAO's French infrastructure, in one of the available data centers. Your signed contracts and documents never leave the country.
Can I integrate it with my existing tools?
Yes. DocuSeal exposes a REST API and webhooks, with Python, PHP, and Ruby clients, as well as embeddable signature components for your React, Vue, Angular, or JavaScript applications.
Can I change plans or export my documents?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your documents and templates remain exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
