What is Collabora Online?
Collabora Online is an open source online collaborative office suite, built on LibreOffice technology. It allows you to edit text documents, spreadsheets, and presentations directly in the browser, with high compatibility for Microsoft Office (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX) and OpenDocument (ODF) formats.
Its flagship feature is real-time co-editing: multiple people work simultaneously on the same file, see each other's cursors, and exchange comments. No more back-and-forth email attachments and version proliferation.
Collabora Online integrates via the WOPI protocol into platforms like Nextcloud, allowing you to edit documents directly where they are stored. With DINAO, the suite is delivered over HTTPS on your domain, with SSO, backups, and maintenance, and your documents remain hosted in France — a sovereign alternative to Google Docs and Microsoft 365.
