What is bewCloud?
bewCloud is a self-hosted file storage platform, designed as a simpler and lighter alternative to Nextcloud and ownCloud. Built with TypeScript and Deno, it focuses on the essentials: managing, sharing, and synchronizing your files without the bloat of all-in-one suites.
Beyond files, bewCloud manages contacts and calendars via open standards CalDAV and CardDAV, and exposes a WebDAV interface for synchronization with desktop and mobile clients. Complementary desktop and mobile applications keep your folders automatically up to date.
With its clean interface and small footprint, bewCloud is designed for individuals, freelancers, and small teams who want a private cloud easy to manage, without giving up control over their data.
