What is ZNC?
ZNC is the reference open-source IRC bouncer. It acts as an intermediary between your client and IRC networks : it maintains your connection permanently, even when your client is closed, allowing you to stay present in your channels 24/7 without interruption.
Its main advantage is the preservation and replay of history : all messages received while you were away are stored and then replayed upon your reconnection. ZNC is multi-user, multi-network, and highly modular — modules add logging, notifications, anti-idle, and many other features. It is compatible with all standard IRC clients.
Hosted by DINAO in a dedicated container on our French infrastructure, ZNC keeps your sessions, logs, and credentials in France, and DINAO manages installation, security, and updates.
