Your lightweight search engine, hosted in France
ZincSearch is a lightweight alternative to Elasticsearch : fast full-text search, low memory footprint, without the complexity of the ELK ecosystem. DINAO installs and hosts it in France.
What is ZincSearch?
ZincSearch is an open-source search engine, designed as a lightweight alternative to Elasticsearch. Written in Go, it delivers high-performance full-text search with a very low memory footprint and significantly simplified operation compared to the ELK ecosystem.
It features a web interface to create, explore, and query your indexes without third-party tools, as well as an Elasticsearch-compatible API for ingestion: your existing log pipelines (Fluent Bit, Vector, Logstash…) can point to it with minimal adaptation. ZincSearch is ideal for log search, catalog indexing, or adding full-text search to an application.
Hosted by DINAO, ZincSearch runs in a dedicated container on our French infrastructure: your indexes and documents remain in France, and DINAO manages installation, security, and updates.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Does ZincSearch replace Elasticsearch?
For many use cases (logs, full-text search), yes. ZincSearch offers a compatible API and a much lower memory footprint, without the complexity of the ELK ecosystem.
How much RAM is needed?
ZincSearch is designed to be lightweight : it runs on a few GB of RAM where Elasticsearch often requires much more, reducing operational costs.
Can I migrate my log pipelines?
Yes. Thanks to the Elasticsearch-compatible API and support for common collectors (Fluent Bit, Vector…), you can adapt your pipelines with minimal effort.
Where are my data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France. Your indexes, logs, and documents do not leave the territory.
Can I change my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time based on the volume of your indexes, and your data remains exportable.
