What is Zenfeed?
Zenfeed is an open-source RSS tool that makes RSS "great again" thanks to AI. It filters, summarizes, and pushes important information automatically to help you take back control of your reading, instead of being overwhelmed by a continuous stream of content.
The engine combines the simplicity of RSS aggregation with modern AI techniques: semantic noise filtering, article summaries, personalized recommendations based on your interests, real-time monitoring of your favorite feeds, and email alerts. An MCP integration allows you to connect an AI assistant directly to your monitoring.
Written in Go, Zenfeed deploys easily as a container. Hosted by DINAO, it can rely on a local open-weight model to remain fully sovereign, or on an external API depending on your needs.

This application uses AI
The container hosts the application, not the AI engine (which requires dedicated GPUs) : inference is handled externally, with your own provider key. Prioritize a sovereign engine — Mistral AI, NumSpot, Scaleway, or OVHcloud AI Endpoints (France, GDPR) ; an international provider (OpenAI, Anthropic…) only if a specific capability requires it. Inference subscriptions are not included in hosting.

How does AI filter my monitoring?
Zenfeed semantically analyzes your feeds to filter out noise, summarize articles, and push the essentials based on your interests. You keep control over your sources and filters.
Are my reads used to train a model?
No. In local AI mode, your feeds, reads, and summaries stay on your instance in France and are never shared or used for training.
Can I use my own model?
Yes. You choose a locally hosted open-weight model (Ollama) or connect an external API with your own key.
Do I receive email alerts?
Yes. Zenfeed sends summaries and highlights from your feeds directly to your inbox, in real-time or according to your chosen frequency.
Can I export my feeds and data?
Yes. Your subscriptions and data remain exportable — no proprietary lock-in — and you can upgrade at any time.
