What is Zen?

Zen is an open-source productivity application that uniquely combines the Eisenhower matrix, Pomodoro, and key principles of Getting Things Done (GTD) to enhance developers' routines. Its goal: help you stay « in the zone ».

The dashboard (Zenboard) integrates the matrix, Pomodoro timer, time tracking, and automatic standup into a single tab. The workflow is intentionally simple: plan what matters, focus on one thing, log completed work, then share progress. Yesterday's tracked work becomes today's standup, ready to paste into Slack, Jira, or a build journal.

Zen is not a team Kanban nor a blank wiki: it is a single-player focus tool designed for engineers who deliver at their own pace. Hosted and maintained by DINAO, it runs in a dedicated container on our French infrastructure.
