What is yt-dlp Web UI?
yt-dlp Web UI is a self-hostable web interface that puts all the power of yt-dlp — the reference open-source media downloader — at your fingertips, with no command line required. Paste a URL, choose the format and quality, and the download starts with a progress bar and history.
yt-dlp supports thousands of sites for video and audio platforms, with quality selection, container choice, and audio extraction via ffmpeg. The interface manages a queue, parallel downloads, and file retrieval directly from the browser.
Lightweight and fast, yt-dlp Web UI deploys via Docker. It is suitable for personal use or for a team (multi-user access optional), keeping files and the queue on your own instance.

No managed container for yt-dlp Web UI: this application is installed on a VPS hosted in France (1 vCPU / 256 Mo / 2 Go minimum).
Application available on a VPS
This application requires privileged access to the host machine, which is incompatible with managed shared hosting. It is installed on a VPS (virtual private server) that you administer: DINAO delivers it with Docker and the management panel of your choice, and you install and maintain yt-dlp Web UI yourself. The VPS is not managed by DINAO unless you add the managed-services option when ordering.

Do I need to know the command line?
No. All the power of yt-dlp is driven from a web interface : no commands to type, progress bar and history included.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your files and queue never leave the territory.
What about the legal aspect of downloads?
You are responsible for respecting copyright and platform terms. DINAO provides the tool and hosting; usage is your responsibility (to be specified in your ToS).
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your downloaded files remain exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
