What is XWiki?
XWiki is an advanced open-source enterprise wiki platform, focused on collaboration and business applications. Beyond simple page creation, it is a true « structured wiki » : an application platform on which you can build forms, page databases, dashboards, and workflows.
Written in Java and running on Tomcat, XWiki relies on MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL databases. It offers a WYSIWYG editor, OpenDocument import/export, annotations, fine-grained permission management, and in-page scripting (Velocity, Groovy, Python…). Authentication integrates with LDAP / Active Directory / SSO.
Licensed under LGPL and deployable via an official Docker image, XWiki is here managed by DINAO : installation, database, HTTPS, backups, and updates are covered. A powerful, extensible, and sovereign enterprise knowledge base, hosted in France.
