Your sovereign file sharing, hosted in France
A lightweight screenshot and file sharing server, powered by XBackBone and ShareX-compatible, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your images and documents stay on our French servers — never on a foreign free service.
What is XBackBone?
XBackBone is a lightweight, modern self-hosted file manager written in PHP. Its hallmark: full integration with ShareX, the Windows screenshot tool, which allows you to capture and share an image or file in an instant, with automatic public link generation.
Beyond screenshots, XBackBone manages the sharing of all types of files with send history, multi-user management, and individual storage quotas. The interface offers syntax highlighting for code snippets and a built-in video and audio player directly in the browser.
Regarding storage, the tool is particularly flexible: in addition to local disk, it can leverage numerous backends — Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure, Dropbox, or FTP — to handle large volumes. All distributed under the AGPL-3.0 license.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What does ShareX compatibility bring?
ShareX is the reference screenshot tool on Windows. Connected to your XBackBone, it captures your screen and uploads the image to your server with one keypress, then automatically copies the sharing link to the clipboard. Everything stays on your French instance.
Can I use external storage for large volumes?
Yes. XBackBone supports multiple backends : local storage, Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure, Dropbox, or FTP. You can start locally and then switch to object storage as your volumes grow.
How do I manage multiple users?
The interface allows you to create accounts, assign storage quotas per user, and view send history. Ideal for a team that shares captures and files daily.
Where are the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your files and captures never leave the territory.
Can I change plans or export my files?
Yes. You upgrade as soon as your storage fills up, and your files remain exportable at any time. Since XBackBone is open source (AGPL-3.0), there is no proprietary lock-in.
