What is WPS Office?

WPS Office is a complete and lightweight office suite — Writer (text), Spreadsheet (spreadsheet), Presentation and a PDF reader — renowned for its compatibility with Microsoft Office formats (docx, xlsx, pptx).

The self-hostable version offered here is based on the LinuxServer.io container: it runs the WPS Office desktop application and exposes it in the browser (desktop-in-browser), via Selkies / KasmVNC technology. This is therefore not a real-time co-editing server, but an individual workstation accessible from anywhere.

Because this type of container offers privileged access to the host, DINAO manages it with appropriate hardening, HTTPS, IP-restricted access, and updates. Result: a nomadic office suite, MS Office compatible, hosted and secured in France.
