Your coding statistics, hosted in France
A coding time dashboard powered by Wakapi, WakaTime-compatible, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your development metrics remain private, on our French servers.
What is Wakapi?
Wakapi is a self-hosted coding time tracking service, compatible with WakaTime. Written in Go for a minimal footprint, it collects activity sent by your editor's WakaTime plugins and transforms it into detailed statistics: time spent per project, language, editor, and operating system.
Wakapi exposes a WakaTime-compatible REST API, allowing you to reuse existing plugins as-is — simply redirect the destination URL. It generates badges, sends weekly email reports, offers public leaderboards, and exports Prometheus metrics for integration with your monitoring.
Lightweight, it runs with SQLite by default or with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB. Several authentication methods (local, OIDC, WebAuthn, trusted headers) are supported. Hosted in France by DINAO, Wakapi gives you a clear view of your development activity, without ever entrusting your metrics to a third-party service.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Is Wakapi compatible with my WakaTime plugins?
Yes. Wakapi implements a WakaTime-compatible REST API: you keep your existing editor plugins and simply change the URL and key to point to your instance.
Do my coding metrics remain private?
Yes. Unlike third-party hosted services, your activity remains on your instance, in France. Nothing is shared or resold.
Where are the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your statistics never leave the territory.
What database is used?
Depending on the plan: integrated SQLite to get started, or PostgreSQL/MySQL for team usage. DINAO configures and backs up the database for you.
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your metrics remain exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
