Automate WhatsApp via a private API
A HTTP gateway for WhatsApp powered by WAHA, installed and maintained by DINAO. Send and receive messages via REST and webhooks, connect n8n and your chatbots — the gateway is hosted in France.
What is WAHA?
WAHA (WhatsApp HTTP API) is a self-hosted gateway that turns WhatsApp into a programmable API. Instead of manually controlling a phone, your applications communicate with WAHA via HTTP/REST to send and receive messages, media, and receipts, and receive incoming events via webhooks in real time.
Designed for automation, WAHA integrates naturally with orchestrators like n8n, with chatbots, or with your own scripts. It manages multiple sessions in parallel, pairing via QR code like WhatsApp Web, and exposes a clear interface to monitor connection status. It's the ideal tool for transactional notifications, conversational support, or controlled follow-up campaigns.
Important: WAHA relies on the WhatsApp Web protocol and is therefore an unofficial API, with no affiliation to Meta. DINAO hosts and operates the gateway in France, while message transport remains, by nature, handled by WhatsApp's infrastructure.

This application uses AI
The container hosts the application, not the AI engine (which requires dedicated GPUs) : inference is handled externally, with your own provider key. Prioritize a sovereign engine — Mistral AI, NumSpot, Scaleway, or OVHcloud AI Endpoints (France, GDPR) ; an international provider (OpenAI, Anthropic…) only if a specific capability requires it. Inference subscriptions are not included in hosting.
Technical details
You might be wondering…
Is WAHA WhatsApp's official API?
No. WAHA is a gateway that relies on the WhatsApp Web protocol (unofficial API). It is not affiliated with Meta. For high-volume or critical usage, review WhatsApp's terms of use and, if necessary, the official WhatsApp Business API.
How do I connect my WhatsApp number?
Pairing is done by scanning a QR code from the WhatsApp app, just like for WhatsApp Web. The session is then stored on your instance to run continuously.
Can I use it with n8n or a chatbot?
Yes. WAHA exposes a REST API and webhooks, making it easy to connect to n8n, a chatbot, or your own scripts to automate sends, responses, and notifications.
Do my messages stay in France?
Orchestration, sessions, and technical storage are hosted in France on your DINAO instance. However, WhatsApp messages themselves pass through WhatsApp/Meta servers: see the sovereignty note below.
Can I change my plan or export my configuration?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your configuration remains exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
