Do I need to modify my application to integrate Usertour?
Very little: simply add the browser SDK, compatible with all frameworks and with both single-page and multi-page applications. Journeys are then built without touching the code.
How does it differ from Userflow or Appcues?
Usertour is a open-source and self-hosted alternative: you retain full control over user data and keep hosting costs under control, whereas these SaaS providers charge based on usage and store your data on their servers.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. User attributes and events never leave the country.
Do I need technical skills?
Integrating the SDK requires a small initial technical step. Afterward, journey creation is done via the interface. DINAO handles installation, PostgreSQL/Redis, security, and updates.
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your data remains exportable—no proprietary lock-in.
