Written in Go, it has no third-party dependencies other than Redis, used for distributed rate limiting and token storage. It facilitates caching, payload compression, throttling, rate limiting, and efficient data formats, while offering middleware optimization, timeouts, circuit breaking, and load balancing.
Ready to use, Tyk provides an API gateway, analytics, a developer portal, and a management dashboard. In the DINAO managed version, everything remains hosted in France, offering you a sovereign API gateway without reliance on non-EU SaaS services.
