TubeSync is a self-hosted application that acts as a personal video recorder (PVR) for YouTube. The principle is simple: you add a channel or playlist, and TubeSync automatically downloads new videos as soon as they are published — much like Sonarr does for TV series.

Content is organized in a clean directory structure, with separate video and audio files (audio-only content, such as music, goes into a dedicated directory) and metadata, all recognized by Plex and Jellyfin. All administration is done via a web interface.

The application offers resolution and format selection, keyword filters to precisely select videos, as well as resume and retry mechanisms. Designed to run in a container, it deploys easily via Docker and is an ideal solution for permanently archiving the channels that matter to you.
