Tracearr is a self-hosted, free, and open-source supervision platform dedicated to media servers Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby. It aggregates all your server streams into a single dashboard and shows you, in real time, who is watching what, from which device and location — on an interactive world map.

Its flagship feature is account sharing detection: Tracearr assigns a confidence score to each user and applies automated rules to flag suspicious behavior, such as geographically impossible travel between two watch sessions or simultaneous connections from multiple locations. An extended alternative to Tautulli that also covers Jellyfin and Emby.

Beyond surveillance, Tracearr offers true library analytics: storage usage, quality distribution, duplicate detection, engagement metrics, and viewing habits. Each user profile details their sessions, known devices, locations, and history. Designed for Docker, it is simple to operate and keeps all your data on your own infrastructure.
