What is Syncthing?
Syncthing is a continuous, decentralized, and end-to-end encrypted file synchronization application. Unlike a standard cloud service, it does not upload your files to a central proprietary server: it synchronizes them directly peer-to-peer between your devices as soon as a change occurs.
All communications are encrypted (TLS) and each connection is authenticated by a unique device ID: your data is readable only by the devices you pair. Syncthing handles file versioning, conflict detection, multiple shared folders, and selective sharing, with clients for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.
DINAO operates a relay node that is always active for you, hosted in France: it keeps your folders synchronized even when your other devices are turned off, and provides a reliable and sovereign relay point. Deployed via Docker, it is an ideal service to run in a managed way.
