What is Stump?
Stump is a free and open-source server for comics, manga, and digital books, featuring OPDS support. It scans your collection, organizes it with its metadata, and distributes it to a polished web interface as well as to your favorite reading apps on mobile, tablet, or e-reader.
Designed for speed and efficiency, Stump is written in Rust (with Axum, SeaORM, and React): fast scans, low memory and CPU usage, and near-instant loading. It focuses on user experience and supports a wide range of comic and digital book formats as well as their metadata.
The project is in active development and progresses quickly; deployable via Docker, it is an ideal service to run in a managed way, where DINAO handles hosting, backups, and controlled update monitoring.

This application requires privileged access to the host machine, incompatible with managed shared hosting. It is installed on a dedicated VPS server where you keep full control — managed by DINAO.

What formats does Stump support?
Stump manages a wide range of comic, manga, comic book, and digital book formats, as well as their metadata, with a polished online reading interface.
What does OPDS support offer?
OPDS is an open standard that allows your reading apps (mobile, tablet, e-reader) to connect directly to your Stump server to browse and read your library, wherever you are.
Is Stump stable?
Stump is in active development and progresses quickly. Written in Rust for performance, it is very polished but can be considered a young solution; DINAO monitors its evolution and applies updates in a controlled manner.
Where are the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your library and reading progress never leave the territory.
Can I scale my storage?
Yes. Storage is scalable as an option, and you can upgrade freely as your collection grows — without proprietary lock-in.
