What is Speedtest Tracker?

Speedtest Tracker is a self-hosted application that continuously monitors the performance and availability of your Internet connection. It runs regular tests via the Ookla Speedtest CLI, capturing download speed, upload speed, ping, and packet loss, then stores all this data to visualize trends and anomalies in a clear web interface (charts, dashboards).

Beyond measurement, it sends notifications in case of speed drops or unavailability and allows data export — particularly useful for documenting disputes with an ISP or supervising a business connection. The database can be SQLite (lightweight), MySQL/MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.

Technically, the application is built on Laravel (PHP) with a Filament interface, and has a low memory footprint. With DINAO, it is hosted and maintained in France: your measurements remain sovereign and GDPR compliant.
