What is SerpBear?
SerpBear is an open source self-hosted SEO ranking tracker that offers a better alternative to SaaS platforms charging per keyword. It tracks your rankings on Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yandex and DuckDuckGo from a single dashboard, with history and trend charts per keyword.
Key features: unlimited keywords and domains, separate mobile and desktop tracking, competitor monitoring, email notifications and webhooks when a ranking changes, CSV export and a companion mobile app. The Google Search Console integration allows you to cross-reference rankings with actual impressions and clicks to prioritize your efforts.
Technically, SerpBear is built on a Next.js application (UI + API) and a separate cron process for scheduled checks, with SQLite persistence. With self-hosting, all data remains on your infrastructure: you own your ranking archives permanently.

You might be wondering…
Are keywords really unlimited?
Yes. With self-hosting, SerpBear does not charge per keyword: you track as many domains and keywords as your instance allows, across multiple search engines.
How does rank checking work?
SerpBear queries search engines via a SERP API (included depending on the tier) on a regular schedule. You can also connect Google Search Console to cross-reference with your actual impressions and clicks.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your SEO history never leaves the country.
Do I need technical skills?
No. The interface is simple: you add your domains and keywords, and SerpBear does the rest. DINAO handles installation, the SERP API key and updates.
Can I change plans or export my data?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your data remains exportable in CSV — no proprietary lock-in.
