Seerr refers to the family of media request management applications (including Overseerr and its fork Jellyseerr) designed to integrate with your Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby servers. It provides your users with a modern interface to discover movies and series, request their addition, and track their progress as they arrive in the library.

The portal offers a rich catalog (posters, synopses, trailers, recommendations), authentication via your media server, and a complete request validation system with quotas, auto-approval, and notifications. Behind the scenes, Seerr orchestrates your content acquisition tools and synchronizes the actual state of the libraries.

Designed for both community and enterprise use, it manages multiple servers and libraries, fine-grained user roles, and multi-channel notifications (email, webhooks). Deployment is done via Docker container, making it an ideal service to host and supervise in a managed way.
