Your ultra-fast NoSQL database, hosted in France
A high-performance NoSQL database powered by ScyllaDB, installed and maintained by DINAO. Compatible with Cassandra and DynamoDB — your data stays on our French servers.
What is ScyllaDB?
ScyllaDB is a high-performance distributed NoSQL database, designed as a direct replacement for Apache Cassandra. Rewritten in C++ on the Seastar framework with a shard-per-core architecture, it fully leverages modern hardware to deliver massive throughput and low, predictable latencies.
Compatible with the Cassandra (CQL) API and the DynamoDB API (via Alternator), ScyllaDB allows you to migrate existing applications without rewriting code, while reducing the number of required nodes. Replication, automatic partitioning, auto-tuning, and fault resilience make it a database tailored for critical workloads.
Used for time series, IoT, catalogs, personalization, or large-scale durable caches, ScyllaDB targets applications requiring millions of operations per second. With the managed version by DINAO, you benefit from this power without managing the fine-tuning of a distributed cluster.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Is ScyllaDB compatible with my Cassandra applications?
Yes. ScyllaDB implements the Cassandra (CQL) API and protocol, as well as a DynamoDB-compatible API. In most cases, you can migrate your applications without rewriting your code.
Why ScyllaDB instead of Cassandra?
Written in C++ with a shard-per-core architecture, ScyllaDB offers significantly higher throughput and lower, more consistent latencies than Cassandra (JVM), often at a reduced hardware cost.
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your clusters and data never leave the territory.
Does DINAO handle tuning and availability?
Yes. We configure the cluster, sizing, replication, monitoring, and updates. You benefit from a managed database without having to manage operations yourself.
Can I scale my cluster?
Yes. You can scale up (nodes, CPU, RAM, storage) according to your load, with the option for multi-datacenter replication for high availability.
