What is Readeck?
Readeck is an open-source bookmark manager and reading later tool, both a self-hosted alternative to Pocket and a true personal knowledge base. It saves the readable version of web pages — text and images, without ads or distractions — so you can read them calmly later, on any device.
You can save an entire article or just a selection, directly from your browser using the dedicated extension. Readeck automatically detects pages that are images or videos and adapts its processing. For organization, it offers labels, favorites, archives, and custom collections, as well as highlighting and note-taking to emphasize important passages.
Lightweight and easy to use, Readeck managed by DINAO runs in a dedicated container hosted in France, with HTTPS, backups, and monitoring. Your reading and monitoring remain fully private and GDPR compliant.
