Design and document your server racks
A drag-and-drop rack designer to plan, visualize, and document your racks. Installed and maintained by DINAO on our French servers, GDPR compliant.
What is Rackula?
Rackula is an open-source rack layout designer that runs directly in the browser, designed for homelabbers, audio/visual technicians, and anyone who wants to visually plan and document their equipment racks.
Its drag-and-drop interface allows you to compose a rack by dragging equipment from a real hardware library, leveraging the visuals from the NetBox device-type library. This lets you visualize unit (U) occupancy and the physical layout of your infrastructure. Plans can be exported in PNG, PDF, or SVG for documentation and change requests.
Rackula runs entirely client-side, without a mandatory backend: the application is lightweight, fast, and easy to self-host. A persistence option allows you to keep plans on the server. Deployment is done via a simple Docker image, making it a sober yet effective infrastructure documentation tool.
