What is pretix?
pretix is a complete open source ticketing solution designed to sell event tickets: conferences, festivals, concerts, workshops, or association meetings. Available for self-hosting, it gives you full control over sales, access control, payments, and attendee data, with no per-ticket fees eating into your margins.
The platform covers the entire event lifecycle: ticket categories, quotas, discount codes, floor plans, advanced pricing, custom forms, multilingual and multi-currency sales. It supports multiple payment gateways, automated invoicing, and offers a REST API as well as webhooks to integrate with your internal tools.
On the ground, pretix generates PDF tickets with QR codes, a mobile scanning app that works online or offline, on-site badge printing, and customizable checklists by venue or product. Multi-event and multi-organizer, with fine-grained role management, it serves everyone from small associations to large festivals, while remaining GDPR compliant.

Does pretix take a commission on my sales?
No. With DINAO's managed hosting, you pay a fixed monthly infrastructure price: no per-ticket commission is charged, unlike major commercial platforms.
Can I manage multiple events at the same time?
Yes. pretix is multi-event and multi-organizer: you manage multiple ticketing shops from a single instance, with separate teams and roles.
How does ticket checking at the entrance work?
Each ticket contains a unique QR code. You scan entries with the dedicated mobile app, including in offline mode, and can print badges on site.
Where are my attendees' data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your data never leaves the territory and remains GDPR compliant.
Can I retrieve my data and change plans?
Yes. You can scale up or down according to your event peaks, and your data (sales, attendees) remains exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
