What is Posterr?
Posterr is a self-hosted digital signage application designed to highlight your media library. Connected to Plex as well as Sonarr, Radarr, and Readarr, it displays your posters, recent additions, upcoming episodes, and current readings in a full-screen slideshow.
Posterr fetches illustrations and metadata from Plex, TMDB, and TVDB, and offers a customizable display that can run in a loop on a TV, tablet, or kiosk. It supports deployment behind a reverse proxy (generic DNS or alternative base path).
Lightweight and robust, the application includes automatic recovery mechanisms in case of Posterr or Plex unavailability, and deploys easily via Docker, making it an ideal showcase for any film or series enthusiast looking to enhance their media server.

Do I need an existing Plex server?
Yes, Posterr connects to your Plex server to fetch posters and current readings. It can also leverage Sonarr, Radarr, and Readarr if you use them.
On which screens can I display it?
On any device with a browser: connected TV, tablet, mini-PC, kiosk. The display is full-screen and runs automatically in a loop.
Where is the data hosted?
On the DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Your Plex access and configuration never leave the territory.
Do I need technical skills?
No. DINAO installs the instance, connects it to your Plex server, and manages updates. You just need to plug a screen into the provided URL.
Can I customize the display?
Yes. You choose the displayed libraries, themes, and modules (upcoming, recent, current). Higher-tier plans allow for custom overlays.
