Archive your YouTube channels, automatically
A self-hosted YouTube media manager: set rules, and Pinchflat downloads channels and playlists for your Plex or Jellyfin server. Installed and maintained by DINAO — hosted in France.
What is Pinchflat?
Pinchflat is a self-hosted YouTube media manager, built with Elixir/Phoenix. It automatically downloads videos from channels and playlists using yt-dlp and integrates with media servers such as Plex and Jellyfin.
The process is simple: you define rules on how to download content from a channel or playlist (quality, format, frequency, subtitles, metadata), and Pinchflat handles the rest — periodically checking for new videos and adding them to your library.
Lightweight, standalone, and fully containerized, it offers a web interface to manage sources, presets, and downloads. It is the ideal tool for archiving content or feeding a media center setup (Plex, Jellyfin, Kodi), all hosted sovereignly in France.
