What is PigeonPod?
PigeonPod transforms YouTube and Bilibili channels into private podcast feeds, allowing you to listen to — or watch — your favorite content anywhere, from any listening app. The motto: « Listen to YouTube & Bilibili. Anywhere. »
The tool prioritizes security with native SSL/TLS encrypting web and RSS traffic, and auto-login in a trusted environment. In terms of features, it includes YouTube API quota tracking to anticipate synchronization limits, OPML export of subscriptions, integrated management of yt-dlp (version updates and switching without leaving the app), support for Podcasting 2.0 chapters, and a responsive interface available in eight languages.
Open-source and self-hostable via Docker, PigeonPod gives you back control over your content consumption: your subscriptions and files remain on your own server.

You provide a YouTube or Bilibili channel: PigeonPod generates a podcast feed (RSS) that you add to your usual listening app, in audio or video.
Are my feeds private?
Yes. PigeonPod serves your feeds via native SSL/TLS and offers protected access. Your subscriptions and files remain hosted in France on your instance.
What about the YouTube API quota?
PigeonPod includes tracking of YouTube API quota consumption, alerting you before synchronization jobs reach it to avoid interruptions.
Can I migrate my subscriptions?
Yes. The OPML export allows you to easily transfer your subscriptions to other podcast clients, without starting from scratch.
Do I need technical skills?
No for usage: the multilingual interface is ready to use. DINAO handles installation, security, updates, and yt-dlp for you.
