What is PdfDing?

PdfDing est un gestionnaire, lecteur et éditeur de PDF auto-hébergé offrant une expérience fluide sur plusieurs appareils. Il mémorise votre position de lecture, gère les annotations (surlignage, dessin, commentaires) et propose un partage contrôlé de vos documents.

L'interface est épurée, avec mode sombre, couleurs de thème personnalisables et plusieurs dispositions d'affichage. Les documents s'organisent par tags multi-niveaux et archivage, et le partage s'effectue par lien ou QR code avec protection par mot de passe, nombre de vues maximum et date d'expiration.

Construit avec Django, Alpine.js, htmx, Tailwind CSS et la visionneuse pdf.js de Mozilla, PdfDing s'appuie sur SQLite par défaut ou PostgreSQL en option, prend en charge l'authentification SSO OIDC et propose une image Docker légère compatible ARM64.

Are my PDFs accessible from my mobile?

Yes. PdfDing is a responsive web app : you read and annotate your PDFs from any browser, and the reading position is saved from one device to another.

Can I share a document with a client?

Yes. You generate a link or QR code protected by password, with a maximum number of views and an expiration date. You keep control of the distribution.

Where are my documents stored?

On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your PDFs do not leave the territory.

Is there enterprise authentication?

Yes. PdfDing supports SSO via OIDC, to connect your existing identity provider and centralize access.

Can I change my plan or export?

Yes. You can change tier at any time and retrieve your documents whenever you want. No vendor lock-in.
