Overview

What is Open Dronelog?

Open Dronelog is a universal, high-performance dashboard to organize and analyze privately your DJI and Litchi flight logs in one place. Built with Tauri v2, DuckDB and React, it processes large volumes of flights quickly and supports plugins for custom log formats.

The tool offers smart deduplication (based on drone and battery serial numbers, departure time) to prevent your library from bloating during repeated imports, as well as fleet management features: battery health tracking and maintenance with alert thresholds. Flights can be exported in CSV, JSON, GPX, and KML, with bonus printable and shareable HTML flight reports.

Deployed in self-hosted mode (Axum REST backend, proxied frontend), Open Dronelog keeps all your flight data on your instance: nothing goes to the manufacturer. Dedicated container, supervised and updated by DINAO.

Do my flight data go to DJI?

No. That's the whole point of Open Dronelog: your logs are imported and analyzed on your private instance hosted in France. You own and control your own flight data.

What log formats are supported?

Native DJI and Litchi logs. A plugin system allows adding custom formats, available from higher-tier plans.

Can I track a drone fleet?

Yes. Open Dronelog manages multiple devices, battery health tracking, and maintenance with alert thresholds, ideal for professional pilots and fleet operators.

Can I export my flights?

Yes, in common formats (CSV, JSON, GPX, KML) as well as printable and shareable HTML flight reports. No proprietary lock-in.

Where is the data hosted?
