What is Navidrome?
Navidrome is your personal, self-hosted music streaming service: it makes your music collection accessible from anywhere, via a modern web interface and a wide range of compatible mobile apps. You retain full ownership of your files while enjoying an experience comparable to major platforms.
Designed to be lightweight, fast, and self-sufficient, Navidrome runs efficiently even on modest hardware like a Raspberry Pi, while supporting very large libraries (up to several hundred thousand tracks in various formats). It manages separate libraries with user-specific permissions and offers on-the-fly transcoding to adapt audio quality and preserve bandwidth.
Navidrome implements the OpenSubsonic API, ensuring compatibility with many third-party clients. Distributed free of charge under the GNU GPL v3 license, the project is actively developed and open to community contributions.

What apps can I use to listen?
Navidrome is compatible with the Subsonic API: many mobile and desktop apps connect to it, in addition to the built-in web player. You can listen to your music anywhere.
Can I stream my FLAC files losslessly?
Yes. Navidrome streams your files at their original quality (FLAC, ALAC), or automatically transcodes them if your connection or device requires it.
Where are the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your library never leaves the country.
Do I need technical skills?
No for usage: the interface is ready to use. DINAO handles installation, server management, security, and updates. You just need to upload your music.
Can I change my plan or retrieve my files?
Yes. You can change tiers at any time, and your music files remain exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
