Your cloud-native messaging bus, in France
A nervous system for your microservices powered by NATS, installed and maintained by DINAO. Real-time messaging, pub/sub and persistent JetStream streaming — on a French sovereign infrastructure.
What is NATS?
NATS is a cloud-native messaging system, open-source and incubated by the CNCF, designed to connect applications, microservices and devices. Lightweight, easy to operate and extremely fast, it serves as the « nervous system » for modern distributed architectures, with publish/subscribe, request/reply and queue group models.
Beyond real-time messaging (NATS Core), JetStream provides persistence: replayable streaming, durable queues, deduplication, acknowledgments, as well as integrated key-value storage and objects. This covers both the distribution of ephemeral events and streams that must never be lost.
NATS is designed for distributed environments: clustering, super-clusters and gateways allow connecting multiple sites and clouds, making it ideal for edge, IoT and multi-region deployments. At DINAO, it is hosted on a dedicated infrastructure in France, secured with TLS, backed up and maintained by us.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
What is NATS used for?
NATS is a messaging bus that connects your applications and microservices in real time: publish/subscribe, request/reply, task queues. It acts as the nervous system of your distributed architecture.
What is the difference between NATS Core and JetStream?
NATS Core handles real-time messaging (without persistence). JetStream adds persistence, replayable streaming, durable queues and key-value storage — useful when a message must never be lost.
Can NATS operate in high availability?
Yes. Starting with the Enterprise plan, NATS is deployed in a multi-node cluster, with the option of super-clusters and gateways to connect multiple sites or regions.
Where do my messages transit and are stored?
On the DINAO infrastructure in France, in one of the available datacenters. Streams are encrypted in transit (TLS) and persisted on French territory.
How to secure access to the NATS server?
Via TLS, authentication (accounts, NKeys, JWT) and fine-grained permissions by subject. DINAO configures multi-tenant isolation tailored to your needs.
