What is Moodist?
Moodist is an open-source ambient sound application designed to promote focus and calm. It offers more than 80 carefully selected sounds — rain, forest, café, waves, fireplace… — which you can freely layer to create your own soundscape.
Beyond sounds, Moodist includes a Pomodoro timer, a sleep timer with gradual fade-out, customizable presets, a built-in notepad, sound selection sharing, and keyboard shortcuts. The fade transitions make the experience particularly smooth.
Focused on privacy, the application performs no data collection and remains fully self-hostable. Built with modern tools (Astro, React, TypeScript), it is lightweight, fast, and user-friendly — an ideal solution for creating custom atmospheres in the office or at home.

Yes. You can save presets and easily share your sound selections with others via a link.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Moodist runs in the browser, on your domain over HTTPS. DINAO handles installation, security, and updates; your teams access the instance directly.
Can I change plans or customize it?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and higher tiers allow customization to match your brand. Since Moodist is open source, there is no vendor lock-in.
