What is Mixpost?

Mixpost is an self-hosted social media scheduling and management software, positioned as an alternative to Buffer and Hootsuite with no recurring subscription. It allows you to compose posts, schedule them in a visual calendar, and publish them automatically via queues. Media library, post versions per network, hashtag groups, templates, previews, and analytics dashboard are part of the experience.

The Lite edition (open source, MIT) covers Facebook Pages, X, and Mastodon. The Pro and Enterprise editions add Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, and Google Business Profile, with unlimited accounts and short formats (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).

Regarding collaboration, Mixpost manages multi-user teams, approval workflows, history, and client invitations. Higher editions offer multi-workspace (ideal for agencies), as well as an API and webhooks to integrate with your tools.

Technically, Mixpost is built on PHP / Laravel with a Vue.js + Inertia.js frontend, Laravel Horizon queues (all tasks asynchronous), a MySQL database, and Redis for queues and cache. FFmpeg handles video thumbnails.

The container hosts the application, not the AI engine (which requires dedicated GPUs) : inference is handled externally, with your own provider key. Prioritize a sovereign engine — Mistral AI, NumSpot, Scaleway, or OVHcloud AI Endpoints (France, GDPR) ; an international provider (OpenAI, Anthropic…) only if a specific capability requires it. Inference subscriptions are not included in hosting.

Which social networks can I manage?

Does my data remain private?

Yes. Your posts, media, and analytics remain on your instance, on our servers in France. No data is transmitted to a third-party service, native GDPR compliance.

Do I need to provide API keys for each network?

Yes. You create your own developer applications on each network and provide the keys to Mixpost. DINAO assists you with this configuration.

Is publishing really automatic?

Yes. Scheduled posts are published asynchronously via Laravel Horizon queues, which DINAO keeps active at all times — your posts go out on time, even if the browser side is closed.

Can I change plans or export my data?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time, and your data remains exportable — no proprietary lock-in.
