Your S3-compatible object storage, in France
An Amazon S3-compatible object storage powered by MinIO, installed and maintained by DINAO. Your buckets, backups, and application data stay on our French servers — without relying on AWS.
What is MinIO?
MinIO is a high-performance open-source object storage system, compatible with Amazon's S3 API. It offers a self-hosted, sovereign alternative to cloud object storage, with low latency and high throughput, while remaining lightweight and cloud-native (easy deployment on Kubernetes or via containers).
Its native S3 compatibility allows you to reuse the entire existing ecosystem of tools and libraries for object storage, without depending on a cloud provider. MinIO is designed to scale up to very large data volumes in a single namespace, and it provides enterprise-grade durability, replication, and security guarantees.
MinIO is particularly well-suited for data, analytics, and AI/ML workloads (training datasets, inference), backup storage, or storing artifacts and application content. It targets technical teams looking for a high-performance, controlled, and self-hosted object storage backend.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
Is MinIO really compatible with code written for AWS S3?
Yes. MinIO implements the S3 API: you just need to change the endpoint and access keys in your application or SDK, without rewriting your logic.
Can I use it as a backup target?
Absolutely. MinIO is an ideal target for Veeam, Restic, Borg, or Duplicati, as well as an object backend for other applications (Nextcloud, Loki, Docker registries...).
Where is the data hosted?
On DINAO's infrastructure in France, in one of the available data centers. Your objects never leave the territory, unlike S3 storage with AWS.
Do I need technical skills?
To connect your applications to the S3 API, yes, basic technical skills are useful. However, installation, security, and updates are fully managed by DINAO.
Can I change my plan or export my data?
Yes. You can increase capacity at any time, and your objects remain accessible via the standard S3 API for migration or export — no proprietary lock-in.
