Capture and archive your media, in France
A video downloader powered by MediaGo, installed and maintained by DINAO. Sniff m3u8/HLS streams, download from over 1,000 sites, and convert your files — on a French instance you control.
What is MediaGo?
MediaGo is an open-source, cross-platform video downloader that "sniffs" and captures m3u8/HLS streams as well as videos from over 1,000 sites (YouTube, Bilibili, X/Twitter, Instagram, Reddit…) thanks to the integration of yt-dlp, aria2, and BBDown. It features a built-in browser and a browser extension that detect video resources on a page and send them to MediaGo with one click, without any packet capture tool.
After downloading, it converts the file to another format or quality without leaving the application (ffmpeg built-in) and handles multiple simultaneous downloads and live streams. It exposes a complete HTTP API for workflow automation.
Technically, MediaGo combines TypeScript/React/Electron and Go, under the MIT license. Beyond the desktop application (Windows/macOS/Linux), it deploys in headless server mode via Docker (amd64 and arm64 images), with a web interface accessible locally and on the network — this is the managed mode offered by DINAO.

Technical details
You might be wondering…
From which sites can I download?
MediaGo sniffs m3u8/HLS streams and relies on yt-dlp to cover over 1,000 sites (YouTube, Bilibili, X/Twitter, Instagram, Reddit…), with aria2 and BBDown as complementary engines.
Can I convert my videos after downloading?
Yes. Format and quality conversion is built-in (ffmpeg), without leaving the tool, and multiple downloads or live streams can run in parallel.
Where are the downloaded files stored?
On your Docker volume hosted by DINAO in France. Your media does not pass through any third-party service.
Can downloads be automated?
Yes. MediaGo exposes a complete HTTP API that allows you to control downloads from your scripts and internal tools.
Is the usage legally regulated?
MediaGo is a tool under the MIT license; it is up to you to respect copyright and the terms of the source sites. DINAO provides hosting, not a right to capture protected content.
