What is Mazanoke?
Mazanoke is a simple and private image optimizer that runs directly in your browser, works offline, and never lets your images leave your device. Designed for everyone, it offers a healthy alternative to "free" online tools whose handling of uploaded files is unknown.
It allows you to finely adjust quality (0 to 100%), target a specific file size, and limit maximum dimensions to ensure you never exceed a given width or height. It converts modern formats — HEIC, AVIF, TIFF — to JPG, PNG, WebP, or ICO, and even accepts pasting images from the clipboard.
Privacy-conscious, Mazanoke automatically removes EXIF metadata from each processed image. Deployed as a Docker container with basic authentication on a sovereign infrastructure in France, it provides your entire team with a fast optimization tool where your visuals remain strictly confidential.

Is EXIF data removed?
Yes. Mazanoke automatically removes EXIF metadata (geolocation, device model, etc.), preventing you from disclosing private information when sharing your images.
