Your web reading mode, hosted in France
The web page cleaner powered by Marreta, installed and maintained by DINAO. Remove trackers, pop-ups, and clutter for a clean reading experience on your own French instance.
What is Marreta?
Marreta is an open-source tool that removes reading obstacles (banners, pop-ups, tracking settings, and visual clutter) from web pages, providing a clean and distraction-free reading experience. It analyzes a URL and returns a cleaned and optimized version of the content.
The processing, purely rule-based, combines cleaning and automatic URL correction (removing trackers), HTTPS forcing, User-Agent rotation, HTML optimization, and rewriting relative URLs to absolute ones. Customization is fine-grained: CSS styles and scripts per domain, custom headers and cookies, domain blocking, caching (S3 option), and proxy support.
Marreta is used via a Telegram bot, Firefox and Chrome extensions, Apple shortcuts, and offers a multilingual interface. Built in PHP (PHP-FPM + OPcache) and containerized via Docker Compose, it can activate an optional Selenium service for rendering pages requiring JavaScript.
